Based in Rio de Janeiro, Carol Santana is a celebrated visual artist focused in Digital Content Creation, Video Mapping, and VJing. With a vibrant career that spans prestigious events globally, she has graced the screens at iconic Music and art festivals and had her work showcased in major cities including Berlin, London, Riyadh, Cluj-Napoca, Lisbon, Bucharest, Barcelona, Montreal, Bogotá, and Buenos Aires.
In August 2024, Carol (together with Apart visual crew) was responsible for the visual experience at Galaxy Stage in Romania, where world-renowned artists such as Carl Cox, Solomon, and Black Coffee played.

In 2023, she was one of the responsible for the projections of the Noz Stock Festival (England), where big names such as The Wailers, Fat Freddy's Drop and Grandmaster Flash performed. The artist has also operated the screens for artists such as Gilberto Gil, Maria Bethânia and Jorge Benjor and developed content for Anitta and Diogo Nogueira.
Carol's unique journey from Environmental Engineering to Communications and a Master’s in Entertainment Design from the European Institute of Design enriches her artistry. Her work draws inspiration from nature and the diverse cultural intersections, with strong influences from urban art and ancestral culture. She masterfully connects the analogic and digital worlds, intertwining her illustrations, paintings, photographs, and immersive videomapping techniques.
In 2022, Carol participated in the ARTLAB (Argentina) x AMPLIFY D.A.I artistic residency, supported by the British Council, where she developed the collaborative audiovisual piece “Portal del Sur.” This work was showcased at the esteemed MUTEK festival in both Montreal and Argentina, along with exhibitions at Oi Futuro, one of Rio de Janeiro's leading cultural spaces.
Deeply connected with indigenous cultures, Carol infuses her works with the strength and vitality of original traditions, garnering recognition at festivals and exhibitions such as the Industry and Science Museum in London (2022), facilitated through the Amazônia Mapping Festival. She collaborates with MOV Festival crew and is part of the female VJ collective Multimanas, and is a prominent figure in both national and international art festivals, including:
